Service Description
This 5-week short course is perfect for beginners wanting a taster of the throwing process and the magic of turning clay into their own handmade creations. You'll learn to throw, trim and glaze cylinders and bowls, with options to attach handles and apply surface decorations. Suitable for ages 14 and over, or ages 12-13 if booked alongside a supporting adult also taking the course. 5 classes over 6 weeks on Tuesday nights from 6:30pm to 9:00pm. Please see session times below. All tools and up to 5kg of clay provided. Firing fees are separate from the course fee and vary based on how many pieces each student makes; current weigh and pay rates are $7 per kilo bisque and $11 per kilo glaze. Please wear clothes suitable for getting a little grubby, and bring: ○ An old towel ○ An apron **Please note: There are no makeup opportunities for missed classes.** Please see Terms and Conditions for reschedule or refund policy.

Cancellation Policy
Fees may be refunded, minus a 10% admin fee, if you cancel your booking with a minimum 2 weeks before the class. There will be no refund if cancellation occurs within 2 weeks of the class. Email info@claysilverdale.com if you wish to cancel.
