Service Description
A satisfying session carving your own unique design into a clay plate - no experience necessary and you don't need to be an artist! Sgraffito is a high-contrast drawing experience, creating bold designs in an intentional and therapeutic way that is made simple by the use of uncomplicated techniques. It's a wonderful way to unwind while producing something you'll treasure for years to come. Bring along a printed image about 20cm in diameter and our staff will show you how to transfer this onto your plate, then how to use tools to carve out your image and brushes to refine it. **If you are not able to book for multiple people, this means there is only one spot left in the class.** Everything provided to carve one plate that we will clear glaze and fire for you. Pieces will be ready to pick up after 2-3 weeks. You will need to wear clothes you don't mind getting a bit grubby and/or an apron. Suitable for ages 16+ or ages 12+ accompanied by a booked adult. Cancellation Policy
Fees may be refunded, minus a 10% admin fee, if you cancel your booking with a minimum 2 weeks before the class. There will be no refund if cancellation occurs within 2 weeks of the class. Email info@claysilverdale.com if you wish to cancel or reschedule.
